THE DALEY DOSE

Saludos amigos! No, this is not Dale Stanwycz, it's me, Gerry. Dale is so busy now with his career as an actor and his rivalry with Tawny Blake that he won't be writing this column any longer... that's rite, I'll now use this space to discuss the status of the Dale Stanwycz character
and his interaction with other DCWL wrestlers as well. Not a definitive change, though. I want to see the response of you, the visitors of this page, to judge and tell me what you like and what you don't, so that I can offer a better, more enjoyable product with this, your HOUSE OF MIRRORS.

CORNERSTONE REVOLUTION did take me by surprise, considering Stanwycz had a supercard 0-2 record since his return to the DCWL in late January. Two wins, and both the same night! And what wins... Jack Ketch, a man whose name is intimidating by itself, and handled by a guy I admire and respect greatly. You know what they say... a good win record only doesn't make a good character, but even the longest of losing streaks doesn't last forever. Then we have Naja Takemara. I totally love Sean's character and he wonderfully fills the void left by the 'vain' Skye Ashner of before, but as much as I love Mistress Dandelion (in every imaginable way) I think she is too dominant in her relationship with Naja. But what the heck, I'll shut up... I'm the one who whined about her absence.

And the heelish turn by Tawny Blake! I was expecting an upset, and honestly I thought Mark Haley becoming a heel was more likely to happen. But this new Tawny will be a very interesting one, especially with Cap and Ketch watching her back. As for Stanwycz... he is now 2-2. Nice. And on another comment, I'm totally convinced that Ryan will get the rewards he deserves with Skye Ashner... and that will be, in a sense... CLASSIC, no matter how much Ben hates him.   ;o)

Your opinion is important. Should Dale get rid of the 'personality split' gimmick? Also, do you think a change of attitude would make "The Mirror" a better guy? Now don't put that face. Stop picking your nose and I'll explain, Stanwycz is an old-school wrestler, the incredibly oversweet guy who 'helps old ladies cross the street' and 'saves kittens on top of trees'. Should he become a bit more cynical (not a heel) and less nice, or keep his happy-go-luck ways?

Also, thanks for the acceptance and participation of everybody taking a part in the entire 'movie' skit (premiere screening RP included), which is basically a spoof of the path taken by Hogan, Piper, and Rock. Did you visit the 'Get the Phoq Outta Here!!' bios page already? I believed a better way to express the essence of the whole thing was visually, so I threw in some pics in hopes of drawing a few chuckles from you. Any suggestions or comments on those are welcome as well.

Ok, I think I pretty much sucked in my first attempt of 'ooc reporting'... I might not be as interesting or entertaining as the AussieFish, but I decided I'd give it a try. Please send me some feedback, I am still struggling with my real life to keep up with character management and barely have time to log on to the net, but an update on this damn website after so long was urgently needed. You can also notice the absence of pics for almost a half dozen WotWs and 3 or 4 TDs. I know I have fallen behind a serious deal, but I hope to fix everything very soon. Please take the time to be happy, at least you'll be happier than me as it looks like I won't be having Major League Baseball in town, next year... those damn Expos. And I think the 'Monterrey Expos' just sounds hilarious!
