Often compared with "Hulk Hogan's Rock n' Wrestling", DCWL INHUMANS was actually
successful due to its level of realistic violence and I-don't-take-crap attitude.
All superstars, with the exception of Charlie Guano, provided their voices for
the cartoon. |

The DCWL INHUMANS are a group of extreme wrestlers, traveling and competing around
the world and looking for adventures and the ultimate thrill. There are the "faces":
Dark Jester, Traxx the Man*Droid, Sweet Agonee, Dale "The Mirror" Stanwycz,
and Lil' J One. Then there are the "heels": José Garcés, Arin Gaoluon, Yang-Te,
London Fog and The Voice. Always following the INHUMANS is the lovely Jody
Slate, a sweet reporter who seeks for interviews before their matches and will
always side along with the faces, despite the fact she's in love with the heels'
leader, José Garcés. Also following them is Charlie Guano, a skinny, smelly,
obnoxious jobber who is always looking for a fight in hopes of becoming an INHUMAN
too, but he's more like the show's comic relief. The INHUMANS usually ran
across trouble, like neighborhood threatening gangs, drug dealers or rotten politicians
who would make life difficult for the innocent townfolks, but the good
and bad wrestlers usually teamed up to kick their asses and fix things with the
aid of their handy barbed wired bats, trusty brass knuckles, and helpful jagged
mirrors! After putting the bad guys out of commission, a hardcore match would
take place at the local arena, usually between a "face" and a "heel". No matter
who won, at the end the result was a bloody mess. |
