On February 26, 1999, at DCWL's PUBLIC DESTRUCTION III, Dale "The Mirror" challenged Preston "The Machine" Maurice for the DCWL World Heavyweight Title in a "no DQ" match. Dale surprised Maurice by attacking with an unusual agressiveness, including an attack with a large bedroom mirror, causing both men to bleed heavily. Security rails and buckets were put to use too! As both men laid unconscious on the canvas due to blood lose, Dale's arm slipped from his chest to Maurice's own, and the referee counted to three! Dale "The Mirror" Stanwycz was the new DCWL World Champion! |
