But Dale Stanwycz proved something else: He had mic skills. Realizing the full potential of his champion status, he hit the airwaves with another memorable idea: He created and co-produced THE TRUE MAN'S SHOW, a variety segment which featured comedy, interesting wrestling facts, UWAC weekly highlights and an interview with a wrestling celebrity from each of all four feds. Dale's guest superstars included: Oriana the Empress of Darkness, Lil J' One, Slugger, Noah "The Punisher" Prejudice, The Kat, Curt Olsen, Traxx the Man*Droid,
Sweet Agonee,
Parks and Elizabeth, Brett Rose, The Mangler, Shadow Ninja, Symbial, Ratt Klyczofvski and The Voice, among many others. During the show's eight-month run, "The Mirror" hosted it with high energy and used his unique, bizarre brand of humor and wit to get the goods on his guests and their opinion of what a true man should be. The show's ratings skyrocketed, and so did the UWAC's credibility.
After a short vacation, Dale returned to his normal job as a DCWL wrestler. Shortly after, it was announced that General Pentagon was the number one contender to the Universal Title in representation of IWL, at the next UWAC PPV, OVERDRIVE.
Dale had his hands full with the brutal DCWL schedule, promotional trips around the world, the Judy Garland Children Foundation's management, and some spin-off projects which included voice work for Myriad's animated series
DCWL INHUMANS, a cult classic which was constantly banned from TV due to its level of violence and the encouragement of anarchy.
But Dale still had his responsabilities in the DCWL. Especially after capturing the DCWL Tag Team Titles with his old friend, Traxx the Man*Droid, in late October. Dale was in such a great moment, he even received an offer from two of his good friends, Jos Garcs and "Latin Lightning" Al Perez, to wrestle in the WWA (World Wrestling Association)
and he accepted. There he fought again the best talent available, including Narcolepsy, The Babyface Brawler, Terry "The Technician" Tronson, Jerome Turner, Shooter, and Jeremy Goodlett. He even won the WWA North American Title from Havoc and the WWA Tag Team Titles, again teaming with Traxx the Man*Droid, before they feuded against the diabolical team of Avanter and Vyolynce, of Sabbat Justice.
